Every since I could read, I always loved the Sunday comics. When I was around 9, it was Asterix and Obelix, this was followed by TinTin. A few years later on, the Uncanny X-Men and the world of the superhero. Batman, Daredevil, Wolverine, were my favourite heroes!

Then along came Gundam… and my life changed! Manga was slowly becoming accessible, no more looking at pictures with Japanese text wondering what was being said. Giant robots, weird monsters, beautiful elves and cyborgs, I had gone to heaven.

In April 2012, after a random painting, an idea came to mind, Fish Boy and Squid Girl… And from that was born The Fish Boy and Squid Girl Chronicles.

So what is it? It’s a fishie collection of crazy, wacky, quirky under the sea tales of love, lust and fisty cuffs!

In June 2012, I launched a mini 12 page preview comic at Supanova Sydney. It went pretty well and I’ve had very positive feedback from those who purchased a copy. I’m currently writing and illustrating for the larger issue(s) to come!
